As a peninsula, Bataan enjoys a strategic location of being connected to the mainland while also being surrounded almost completely by water. It is known for an interesting contrast of attractions: its peaceful coves and beaches, those of which served as a venue for important World War II events. Because of its easy access to Metro Manila and neighboring provinces, Bataan is known as a quick weekend getaway. But with more pristine coves, bayside attractions, seafood products, and historic attractions, you'll soon discover that a weekend isn't enough to soak in all the sights.

Named after Aurora Aragon, the wife of former Philippine president Manuel L. Quezon, this province that was carved out of the Quezon province has come into its own brand of adventure, attractions, and idyllic coastal living that has become coveted by those weary of fast-paced city living. Aurora is blessed with both alluring seas and summits, as it is bordered by the Northern Sierra Madre Natural Park of Isabela, the central range Sierra Madre range, and the Philippine Sea.

Surrounded by the Sierra Madre, Caraballo, and Cordillera mountain ranges, Nueva Vizcaya consists of some rolling plains and fields, agricultural lands, caves, waterfalls, and some notable World War II landmarks. There's plenty to discover in its rugged terrains that hold lesser-known attractions for adventure-seekers looking for paths less traveled.

The young province of Quirino, having only been established in 1966, is fast gaining popularity as a watersports destination. Ranging from modern ameinities in the Quirino Watersports Complex to the raging rapids and rocky cliffs of Maddela, the landlocked province offers a different kind of adrenaline and wonder when in Cagayan Valley.

The largest province in Luzon and second-largest in Philippines, Isabela is vast province consisting mainly of agricultural fields. The rice and corn producing province is framed by the Northern Sierra Madre National Park and the Philippine Sea, containing hidden gems that range from riverside attractions, historical landmarks, waterfalls, dolphin sightings, and an idyllic rural lifestyle.

Cagayan's roots run deep, with the province containing important archaeological finds that point to prehistoric settlements. Covering the northeastern tip of Luzon including the remote Babuyan Islands, Cagayan consists of vast, agricultural fields located between the Philippine Sea and the Cordillera mountain range. It is traverses almost right in the middle by the Cagayan River, the Philippines' largest and longest river, which flows from the Caballaro mountains to the Babuyan Channel. The province has a long list of hispanic historical landmarks, pristine white beaches and coves, and extensive cave systems that hold more clues to the province's prehistoric roots.

Pangasinan, which translates to "a place of salt", is a coastal province known as the Philippines' top salt ("asin") producer. It is also known for its vibrant agriculture and aquaculture industries, the Hundred Islands National Park, and a multitude of white sand beaches and coves.

A premier surfing destination in Luzon, La Union's San Juan town is dubbed the "Surfing Capital of the North". The province is blessed with a fine selection of beaches, waterfalls, and historical attractions.

Comprising part of Luzon's northerhnmost tip, the province is known for its panoramic ocean views and well-preserved Spanish colonial architecture.  It is also known as the birthplace of several Philippine political figures such as former Philippine President Ferdinand E. Marcos, Philippine Revolutionary War general Artemio Ricarte, and Iglesia Filipina Independiente founder Gregorio Aglipay.

The province is home to two of the Philippines' UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Heritage City of Vigan and the Baroque Church of Santa Maria.
