Nature Kids of Siargao is an organization that aims to support underprivileged children by supporting their basic needs such as food, shelter, clothing, and education. Founded by couple Joseph "Cocoy" Davis, and Sanne "Sunny" Sevig, one of the organization's thrusts is to teach kids to better appreciate and care for nature. Their sustainability initiatives include the Recycling Art Studio, which educates the community on the importance of recycling and sustainability by upcycling materials and turning them into fun, functional items.

This farmers market is part of Siargao's commendable sustainability movement. It provides a venue for local vendors, artists, artisans, and farmers to proudly showcase and sell their goods. The community market also advocates for naturally grown produce and plastic-free initiatives.

This renowned home cook of Siargao Island was recognized in the Department of Tourism (DOT)'s 2019 campaign, The Tourism Decade, which features stories and mini-documentaries of select individuals from across the country that have made an impact on local tourism. Her home cooking may be sampled in Laida's Store in General Luna. One of her must-try specialties is the Creamy Chicken Mango Curry.

The Philippine Benevolent Missionaries Association, Inc. (PBMA) shrine, also known as the Divine Master's shrine, has a structure that is hard to miss. Located on a hilltop overlooking a cove, the shrine is dedicated to the SEC-registered religious organization's master founder, Ruben Ecleo Sr. It is marked by an ornate gold gate that opens to lavish landscaped gardens and interesting structures on what is considered sacred grounds by the organization's followers.

The Banza Church Ruins is a 16th century historical landmark that enshrines the remains of the belfry of a church that was said to have been established in 1625 in honor of St. Joseph. The site is a fascinating sight, as the rest of the ruins is being swallowed by a balete tree believed to be a century old.

Thos hilltop park is an eco park and historical landmark in Butuan City. The park commemorates "The Site of Annual Commemoration of Christianity in the Philippines".

Also known as Prayer Mountain, this religious destination in Barangay Kauswagan, is a quiet place for reflection. It features a crucifix on a hilltop that may be accessed via an approximately 600-step uphill path. During Holy Week, Stations of the Cross are set up in the area.

The Eastern-Northern Mindanao Regional Museum (National Museum Eastern-Northern Mindanao) contains one of the Philippines' oldest archeological finds: The oldest balangays or Butuan boats, which date from the 7th to 10th century. The museum also showcases prehistoric artifacts from Butuan, as well as cultural materials from ethno-linguistic groups inhabiting the region such as the Manobos, Higaonons, and lowland Butuanons.

This MoTourismo initiative of the Department Of Tourism - Caraga aims to revitalize the travel experience and rediscover the destinations in the region through motorcycle or bike-riding in a simultaneous endurance ride. Conducted on October 23, 2021, trail stops were identified in the tourism destinations of the region, promoting the new normal way of safe travels. Its route includes Butuan City, Bayugan City, and San Agustin, Surigao del Sur; Tandag City and Carrascal, Surigao del Sur; Claver, Surigao del Norte; and Cabadbaran City, then back to Butuan City.

This site in Esperanza marks the location where the Golden Tara, a golden statue of the Hindu-Buddhist goddess Tara, was excavated in the early 1917. The statue itself is currently kept in the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago, Illinois but the excavation site continues to attract tourists and archaeologists today.
