Her home cooking may be sampled in Laida's Store in General Luna. One of her must-try specialties is the Creamy Chicken Mango Curry.

Swim the beaches of Basul and Pagkawasan Beach, a strip of fine white sand in Hikdop Island which is 45min boat ride from the city port. Explore not only the beaches but also the cave in the island which is Buenavista Cave. The interior stone formation of the cave deposits an image of a Grand King's Court complemented by picturesque stalactites and stalagmites.
