Delta Discovery Park is one of the province's newest ecotourism adventure offers. It has different leisure outdoor activities like a 1.3-kilometer zipline, trekking tours, ATV and buggy trailing, and an aviary park, to name a few.

This MoTourismo initiative of the Department Of Tourism - Caraga aims to revitalize the travel experience and rediscover the destinations in the region through motorcycle or bike-riding in a simultaneous endurance ride. Conducted on October 23, 2021, trail stops were identified in the tourism destinations of the region, promoting the new normal way of safe travels. Its route includes Butuan City, Bayugan City, and San Agustin, Surigao del Sur; Tandag City and Carrascal, Surigao del Sur; Claver, Surigao del Norte; and Cabadbaran City, then back to Butuan City.

From above, the Lake Bababu appears as an almost perfectly round, emerald green to blue dot surrounded by lush vegetation. The lake features an underwater cave connected to the open sea, and is believed by the locals to have healing properties.

The sanctuary is one of the most ecologically important wetlands in the Philippines. It is home to almost 200 bird species, and was home to "Lolong", the world's largest crocodile caught in captivity measuring over 20 feet long.

This site in Esperanza marks the location where the Golden Tara, a golden statue of the Hindu-Buddhist goddess Tara, was excavated in the early 1917. The statue itself is currently kept in the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago, Illinois but the excavation site continues to attract tourists and archaeologists today.

Alameda Farm offers a complete agritourism experience. It offers organic dining, farm tours, and outdoor adventure activities such as ziplines, ATVS, sky biking, and more.

Cagwait White Beach is a popular beach among locals and tourists alike. It has fine white sand and clear waters.

Lanuza is another one of Surigao's more recently discovered surfing grounds. It is known for having one of the country's longest right hander waves, and is a destination for surfing competitions and tournaments.

Laswitan's 20-foot rock formation and lagoons are named after the word "laswit", which means "splash" - referring to the water-fall like cascade formed when the tide is high and it crashes against the rocks. It has three lagoons that are popular for swimming.

The city museum of Cabadbaran City, Museo de Cabadbaran contains a repository of the City's old documents and artifacts collected from Cabadbaran's four archaeological sites.
