The remoteness of Batanes from the rest of the Luzon mainland has given it a unique geography and culture. Located between the Cagayan Valley region and the southernmost tip of Taiwan, Batanes consists of three main inhabited islands - Sabtang island, Batan Island, and Itbayat Island - surrounded by water. The islands are known for their rolling green hills, well-preservedIvatan culture, sturdy stone houses, historical lighthouses and landmarks, and winding roads that traverse the beauty of the province's landscape and coastlines.

Located on the northern fringe of Metro Manila, Caloocan contains a number of fascinating yet overlooked attractions. The mostly landlocked area - save for a portion of the La Mesa Watershed and eco park on its eastern side - it is far beyond a mere intersection of road transit points that open further to the northern provinces. Known as the gateway to the north, Valenzuela has deep roots in revolutionary resistance. Named after physician and Katipunan member Dr. Pio Valenzuela, the urbanized city was formed by a long list of historical figures and events that have played vital roles in nation-building. The city,  which is also part of the Northern Manila District comprised of Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas and Valenzuela City - collectively known as CAMANAVA - is filled with historical churches, shrines, attractions, and breezy open parks that deserve a visit.

Taguig is characterized by state-of-the-art masterplanned urban areas as well as fascinating historical attractions. The Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Taguig offers a glimpse of the metro's upscale, state-of-the-art residential, business, and retail zones, as  well as important military landmarks such as the Manila American Cemetery and Memorial Park - the largest American World War II cemetery in the world. The city is also known for its creative and active outdoor parks that also double as communal art and fitness zones.

San Juan is a hub of history, heritage and culture which largely shaped its formation as a city. Traditionally named after St. John of the Mountain, pertaining to its patron saint St. John the Baptist, one of the city's most distinct attractions is its annual Wattah Wattah Festival or Basaan Festival (dousing of water) during the feast of the aforementioned saint. It is also the site of several historical points of interest, old Spanish colonial houses that show traces of old world grandeur, as well as a mix of both upscale and bargain retail finds and dining options.

Having served as the National Capital Region's capital city for 27 years until  June 24, 1976, Quezon City houses some of the metro's most important historical monuments, government and administrative offices, and commercial, recreational, and business hubs. At the heart of the expansive bustling city lies the art deco–style memorial deducated to former president Manuel L. Quezon, whom the city borrows its name from. Located betweeen the norther provinces and the National Capital Region's other highly urbanized cities, Quezon City is a colorful mix of residential, business, shopping, leisure, and school districts, as well as some of the metro's vital green spaces and home-based food strips.
