Description
Located on the northern fringe of Metro Manila, Caloocan contains a number of fascinating yet overlooked attractions. The mostly landlocked area - save for a portion of the La Mesa Watershed and eco park on its eastern side - it is far beyond a mere intersection of road transit points that open further to the northern provinces. It contains a fascinating mix of business and commercial establishments, historical remnants of Spanish colonial rule, interesting cemeteries, nature parks, and social venues.
The city is also part of the Northern Manila District comprised of Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas and Valenzuela City - collectively known as CAMANAVA.
