Description
The Eastern-Northern Mindanao Regional Museum (National Museum Eastern-Northern Mindanao) contains one of the Philippines' oldest archeological finds: The oldest balangays or Butuan boats, which date from the 7th to 10th century. The museum also showcases prehistoric artifacts from Butuan, as well as cultural materials from ethno-linguistic groups inhabiting the region such as the Manobos, Higaonons, and lowland Butuanons.
