Description

Known as the gateway to the north, Valenzuela has deep roots in revolutionary resistance. Named after physician and Katipunan member Dr. Pio Valenzuela, the urbanized city was formed by a long list of historical figures and events that have played vital roles in nation-building. The city,  which is also part of the Northern Manila District comprised of Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas and Valenzuela City - collectively known as CAMANAVA - is filled with historical churches, shrines, attractions, and breezy open parks that deserve a visit.
