Shyren Bugak Spring has a selection of natrual spring pools for swimming set against a lush landscape. The cool, clear waters spring naturally from the mountains.

Mount Apo Natural Park is a majestic, 64,000-hectare landscape that is home to the Philippines' highest mountain: Mount Apo. The park is included in the UN List of National Parks and Equivalent Reserves and acknowledged as an ASEAN Heritage Site. It is home to over 272 bird species, including the Philippine Eagle.
 

Mt. Loay is one of Davao del Sur's most popular hiking and trail running destinations. With an altitude of 1,040 meters above sea level, it is sometimes used as a preparatory hike for Mount Apo. From the summit, one can see the Sta. Cruz urban center, the Davao Gulf, and peaks of other mountains such as uch as Camotes Ridge, Pilan Peak, and Mount Bariraya.

Malagos Garden Resort offers a wide range of activities for the whole family. It offers day tours and overnight accommodations, and features eco-tourism attractions such as a chocolate museum, a buttefly museum, hydroponics garden, bird-feeding dome and a butterfly sanctuary.

Merloquet Falls' peculiar stair-like rock formations create an enchanting sight against a canopy of green. It has two cascades that fall over the fascinatingly unique rock formations.

See the unique curtain-like cascades of Malagandis Falls up close. This natural waterfall is marked a wide curtain of water that flows in two cascades over a protruded cave formation.

This protected landscape is a key biodiversity area that provides sanctuary for a wide range of flora and fauna, including endemic and endangered species. Covering a total area of 2,689.542 hectares marked by lowland forests, grassland, steep slopes and ridges, it is home to creatures such as the Philippine eagle, Philippine cockatoo, Philippine hawk eagle, Philippine tarsier, Philippine warty pig, Asian palm civet cat Philippine sailfin lizard, to name a few. In 2018, scientist and Far Eastern University faculty, Rudolph Valentino A. Docot, discovered a new vulnerable plant species named Plagiostachys lourdesiae (Zingiberaceae).

At the heart of the Mt. Timolan Protected Landscape lies this heart-shaped crater lake that almost seems as if it was pulled from a dream. Take in the serene surroundings by kayaking or camping by the lakeside to get the full experience.

Situbo Falls is one of the lesser known falls in the area, with two cascades pouring out from towering rock formations. The path to the falls is lush and green, and remains relatively pristine and undeveloped.

The 3,003 steps leading to Linabo Peak is well worth it. From the top, one is rewarded with sweeping views of Dipolog City and the marshes of Dapitan.
