Sasmuan Bangkung Malapad Critical Habitat and Ecotourism Area (SBMCHEA) Review

Sasmuan Bangkung Malapad Critical Habitat and Ecotourism Area (SBMCHEA) is a prime location for birdwatching and wildlife conservation. This protected coastal wetland covers around 300 hectares that hosts critical ecosystems. According to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, bird species sighted in the area include the Philippine duck, Black-faced spoonbill, Chinese egret, Far eastern curlew, and Malaysian plover, to name a few.
