Metropolitan Theater of Manila Review

The oldest existing theater in the Philippines, The Metropolitan Theater or "grand dame" of Manila gives a glimpse of the city's old grandeur. It was declared a National Cultural Treasure and a National Historical landmark and features distinctively art deco architecture. The theater was inaugurated in December 10, 1931, and. after some careful restoration efforts, was reopened again to the public in 2021.
