Description

Dive into the Southwestern Tagalog Region's natural wonders. Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan (MIMAROPA) has a coveted terrain underwater and on land which has blessed it with plenty of marine biodiversity pockets, ancient limestone formations, white sand beaches, and some of the most exhilerating mountain trails. It also retains much of its resident indigenous groups, such as the the Tagbanua, Palaw'an, and the Batak people of Palawan, the Negritos of Romblon, and the Mangyan of Mindoro. Learn about them in immersive cultural villages in Puerto Galera, scale the jagged peaks of Romblon's Mount Guiting-Guiting, or get blissfully lost in Palawan and see why it has been a constant in many international and local "best beaches" lists and more.
