Description
Museo de Oro offers visitors a glimpse at the folk culture and history of northern Mindanao. Located within Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan, it is dubbed as the Philippines' first folkloric museum, which was founded in 1967 by Fr. Francisco Demetro, SJ.
It houses three main collections: The Ethnohistory of Northern Mindanao, The Ethnology of Mindanao, and the Fr. Francisco Demetrio SJ Gallery.
