Description

While Boracay Island already tops several local and international best beaches lists, nothing beats the experience of seeing it - and experiencing the rest of what Aklan has to offer for yourself. Perhaps more known for its coastlines - which run across several municipalities at 155 kilometers long - the province is also traversed by mountain ranges and virgin forestlands that are some of the few remaining in the country. Aklan is also the oldest province in the country, whose establishment in the 13th century is celebrated in the annual Ati-atihan Festival, dubbed the “The Mother of all Philippine Festivals". Continue your journey from its white sand beaches and into its inland rivers, streams, and creeks, springs and waterfalls to get into the heart of Aklan.
